hey, is this possible with a pi?

hey, basically i want to know if its possible to hook up a webcam to a raspberry pi, and a 3g dongle, and stream audio and video live over the internet so people can go to a webpage and view the stream?

Yes, but it's not simple.

Hooking up the webcam has been done hundreds of times. Of course, the RPi camera is much simpler, much better and not expensive.

Setting up a server to broadcast the video has been done dozens of times too. A lot depends on what you want. There's a world of difference between a birdcam with a couple of simultaneous viewers and a popular video broadcast with hundreds of users.

okay so what would be the easiest way to set it up so a few people could watch at a time? also thanks for the help, and im going to look at the link :D
