Flash Player

Thu Feb 13, 2014 3:54 pm

Dear fellow community,

I was wondering whether or not flash player could run on ANY operating system will run on the Raspberry Pi. If not are there any alternatives. I have tried gnash, but it won't play the flash based videos.

Thank you in advance.

Not possible Flash Player from Adobe does not support the processor of the Pi and thus not supported by any Operating System (including Android if it ever existed).
To play videos from Flash sites you'll need a 3rd party tool such as XBMC (OpenELEC, Raspbmc and Xbian) with plugins.
If you're clever enough you could code scripts to search and play videos from different websites such as my Dailymotion script - http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 2&p=486803
