Backports Repository

I have started a basic backports repository - go to https://sourceforge.net/p/raspbian-backports if you're interested in contributing some .deb files to the project, or have ideas for new packages to be ported from Debian.

At the moment, there is only one set of packages available, ZNC 1.2, which I made myself. I will happily accept more either here on this topic or on the SourceForge project.

To add the repository to Raspbian, just create the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/backports.list and add the following line to it:

deb http://raspbian-backports.sourceforge.net backports/

Make sure to include the trailing / at the end.

Hope that people will find this repository useful, seeing as one doesn't yet exist.

Disclaimer: All packages on the repo are unsupported by me - contact the original authors of the software for support, and beware that there is a chance things won't work perfectly.
