Installation of GPIO Python Library Error

I downloaded the GPIO Pyhton library for pi GPIO-0.2.0.tar.gz and extracted it.

I did sudo python setup.py

but it says "Error: No Commands supplied."

Why did you download version 0.2.0? The latest version is 0.5.4 and comes preinstalled in Raspbian

The up-to-date RPi.GPIO comes pre-installed with raspbian and is much changed and improved. The tutorial you are working from must be ancient.
