Encryption Software

Sat Jan 04, 2014 10:55 pm

Hi there,
I am currently looking for some encryption software to run on my raspberry pi.

It will need to fully encrypt a USB flash drive. I am looking for software that will work with a GUI.

I cannot find any basic instructions for truecrypt with a GUI and the only options I've found so far are terminal based, which I do not want.

If anybody can help me with a good program or instructions on how to install truecrypt with GUI, I would be very grateful, but please bare in mind I'm a newbie and don't know much yet.

Try this google search to find the existing thread on here.
"truecrypt site:raspberrypi.org"

I've tried all the methods provided, but none of them allow me to display a GUI.

Plus, when trying to run and compile truecrypt, I enter the terminal commands and hit enter, and just get a blank terminal which I have to restart.
