When you say video, do you mean play back a video or do you mean be used as a display on the Raspberry Pi? If you mean play back a video, then to get GPU accelerated playback you need to have a display connected either to the analog RCA jack or the HDMI port. If the display you are looking at connects to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO port, (such as the one texy sells) then you can use it as a display, but you can't get accelerated video playback.
