camera and IR camera set up

i want to set up two cameras.
one standard and one IR.
they are to take only still raw photos but simultaneously.
they are to take pics of the same area from a uav.
in other posts i have read that i need a pi for each.
does the Raspberry Pi Rack Accessory IO Board permit two cameras into one pi?
the uav runs on arduino flight planner.

does anyone have any advice on the best layout and parts for achieving this?

I am working on putting together the same type of project. Just curious if you ever got an answer to your question and/or figured out the best way to take two simultaneous pictures from a UAV.
