Musicbox

Hi !

I found this very cool little program called musicbox (I'm sure i'm not the first one though), but i'm having problems, it seems to be working fine when I'm hardwired to the router but when I use the wifi adapter it won't connect (the little "act" light on the card doesn't turn on, nor do the 3 leds on the rpi).

I'm using a D-link DWL-G122 wifi dongle, my wifi is not encrypted and it's called Wifi_Maison (would the underscore cause issues ?).

I'd really like to get this working, we're having a christmas party soon and I think that would be awesome to have !

could be wrong but I suggest it may be a power issue, if the pi aint booting with the usb dongle attached I would try with a more powerful phone charger

Oh, that may be the case, it was a cheap phone charger, i'll try it with a 2A usb charger (that one was something like 700mA)

I'll try that then.

EDIT : just read the specs of the old charger : 400mA, i'll try it with a better charger !
EDIT-2 : Still nothing, even when I plug it into the ethernet the webserver doesn't work, I hink I might simply install some airplay server like openelec and use it that way instead, that way I can use raspbian (the wifi works on wheezy with that adapter)
