Hdmi issues

Mon Dec 09, 2013 7:42 pm

Hi all

I have been having issues regarding the hdmi signal. Even in the menu i would get random interference lines and the display disappears then re appears. It continues to do this even when ive tried the safe mode option in config,even boosted the hdmi to 7 and it even does it when ive reinstalled the different os from scratch onto another sd card. Ive even checked the voltages which is at 4.86v and ive changed hdmi leads and even the tv itself.

Now what i get now is no display at all. My tv would say either no signal or unrecognised video format or something along those lines. The only way i get a display is through the phono lead.

Any ideas please.

Many thanks in advance

Turn the HDMI cable round (mainly because that forces you to re-seat both plugs).

Try another TV.
Try using the 'tvservice -s' command to discover what your TV is capable of displaying.

Try playing with the value of the following in config.txt

config_hdmi_boost=4

Can't remember if its that or

hdmi_boost=4

default = 0... max = 7
