Occidentalis installation

Fri Nov 29, 2013 5:24 pm

I am trying to install occidentalis from adafruit on to my new 4GB sd card. I have downloaded the image from adafruit and used eLinux to get the image onto my SD card. I unmounted my SD card then used the command 'sudo dd bs=1m if=~/Downloads/Occidentalis_v02.img of=/dev/rdisk1' When i do that it asks me for a password however it does not recognise my login and anything else I type into it.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I am using a macbook pro

If anyone have any other ways to get install Ocidentalis, please let me know.
I am a beginner by the way
