Issues connecting RaspBMC to Network Hard Drive

Hello. I searched for this and didnt find anything so forgive me if this has been covered. OK, I just got me a Pi the other day and installed RaspBMC on my SD Card. I connected the Pi to my wifi network but am having issues trying to connect to my network hard drive...a WD MyCloud connected directly to my router. Can someone let me know what I need to do? Thanks for your help.

What errors are you getting?

Can you R-Pi ping your router?

Having an issue where the 2.5 hdd was connected to raspbmc over wifi and worked great.

then video files started showing up as 0bytes.

when i rebooted the pi with raspbmc I cannot get the drive to connect. Hdd works and laptop can see videos on drive over wifi.

is there a simple how to that will help me. Bearing in mind that I do not know how to get to the command line on the raspbmc

Have you been able to connect your RaspBMC setup to your WD MyCloud? I'm thinking of getting the MyCloud for a similar setup but haven't been able to get an answer to this question either. Thanks!
