Bridging 3G USB Internet Dongle to Eth0

Mon Nov 11, 2013 11:50 am

Hi,
I just had a idea to use my Raspberry Pi as a ISP using a 3G USB Internet dongle.
i use Sakis3G to connect to the USB dongle, now i have a little problem with the bridge... :!:
i want to bridge the 3G dongle and eth0 to make a sort of a temporary setup to get access to the internet if i go on holiday.
I downloaded brctl to setup the bridge, but the 3G dongle connection to the pi is via ppp0. I googled all day just to find out that ppp0 does not support ethernet frames, i just want to bridge the 3G dongle to eth0 that i can get internet via the 3G dongle from my Pi... I am using thr latest version of Raspbian Wheezy, and my USB dongle is a Huawei...
Any advice is appreciated,
