Release of preboxed version ?
Although I'm dead keen to get my hands on a Pi to play with, there's no (imminent) light at the end of the tunnel regarding my RS order, so I was wondering when the Pi in a case, aka education release on the faq, might be available ?

People that registered around the time of the launch should be supplied by end of June (ish). I suspect cases will take longer. Why wait - dive in and join the fun!

buy a cheap case from ebay we have plenty right now. cases that is. he he
one armed controls engineer, my grammar is bad but lets face it most keyboards don't suit a one armed man

Once the current backorder has been forfilled it shouldn't be too long before they start stock piling the educational unit.
The cases (I suspect) will be moulded plastic which is far quicker and cheaper to produce then the unit itself.
