So i was using this guide http://roverpi.blogspot.com/2013/07/con ... -with.html to control two motors with my pi and it was working fine. I had the program run for about 5-10 minutes and then I found that my pi wouldn't turn on. It will temporarily show a red light and then eventually shut off.
I've tested another pi with everything being the same except the GPIO's weren't plugged in. Before using another pi I wanted to know why the original one was fried because I have no idea. Is there some safety regarding GPIO pins I may have not known about?
