Hi,
I have been using a VPN on my RPi for ages, but recently I have tried to ssh into the pi over my VPN whilst I've been outside my home network. This has never been successful and I would find it very useful if I could make it work.
When I am on the same home network as the pi, SSH works successfully, but not if I'm not on the same network, I simply get an error showing "address not valid."
When i've got the VPN active, and input the router IP address, I can log into the router and also onto CUPS server.
Can anyone explain why this is the case. and how I work around this?
