Why USB HUB crashed SD card?

I have connected Samsung 320GB USB disk drive 850mA, 5V to USB HUB LogiLink UA0085 USB2.0 powerd 2A,5V PS. Then, i boot my Raspberry Pi, on boot screen i have can read this:

end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 139698
mmcblk0: error =110 transferring data, sector 139698 nr 256 ,end response read status 0xb00.
and etc, etc.....
System is not booting. What happend?

maybe try blocking the power line between the rpi and the hub with some paper and some tape.
if it's not power related try booting with just the HDD or just the hub or with updated firmware/OS.

No powerline between rpi and hub. Pi has PSU #1 and HUB has PSU#2.
Pi and HUB are connected via USB cable.

Boot Pi with only HDD? Will Pi boot like that?

Updateted firmware of HDD or PI?

I have cut off red wire HUB to Pi and was able to use HDD. I know why SD was destroyd, back current from HUB made unwanted write I/O to SD. Thanks for support.
