i'm hoping to use the pi for other things than just media.
also, i'm hoping to set my home pc up as a "cloud" so that i can stream from it anywhere i have wifi. can Raspbmc do this? if not, what would you recomend?

can i install raspbmc without using whole SD Card?
is it possible to have Raspbmc on my RasPi without it being the ONLY thing it boots to? i'd like to run it from a command prompt. sorry my terminalogy isn't great, i've been a windows/dos guy my whole life.
