openssh-Server

Wed Aug 14, 2013 7:34 pm

Hi folks,

I have two Raspberry Pis which should copy via cronjob, shell script and scp several files from time to time.
I set up ssh-keys via ssh-keygen and copied the public keys with ssh-copiy-id to the remote Pi and vice versa.

If I understand the concept of ssh right, I now must be able to login in via ssh without any password to the other Pi. But that doesn't happen. Both Pis ask for a password. scp works, but also only when I type the password.

The sshd-config file is correct, as far I can see.

Here is the output of the ssh command:

did you do this in the sshd_config
ChallengeResponseAuthentication no
PasswordAuthentication no
UsePAM no

Return to “Troubleshooting”
