RAspberry Pi running hot?

Wed Aug 14, 2013 1:48 am

i am running 700Mhz, not overclocking, running the usual services - samba, LAMP stack, mpd, a few others

a "/opt/vc/bin/vcgencmd measure_temp" usually returns 55 degrees C or so, gets over 60 degrees when I am streaming. I've seen it hit 64 degrees for an extended period of time.

Should I be concerned?

No, that's quite cold. Start getting a little worried if it gets over 75.

Ok - thanks for the guidance. I don't ever see it run above 70, but I'm now monitoring it.
