RetroPie Xbox Controller for GBA (gpsp)

Wed Jul 17, 2013 7:27 pm

I have figured out that the GBA emulator (gpsp) don´t have the same type of easy controller configuration as the other emulators in RetroArch. So my question is: How do I change the controller setup for the GBA emulator to work with a wired xbox controller?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have this same problem. Did you get anywhere with this? I got this far that you have to configure your gamepad (xbox wired in my case) in the gpsp GUI itself. What I did was CD into the gpSP directory in terminal ( retropie/emulators/gpsp/raspberrypi ) and then run "./gpsp".

From there pressing B doesn't work but I could get in to the configuration by pressing X on the keyboard. And there is the gamepad configuration. Problem is it doesn't recognise input from my Xbox controller that works fine with SNES emulator and the front-end.

Any ideas?

No, I have tried to find sulotions but it just doesn´t recognize the controller....
Which seems a little strange since everything else recognize it :/

oh and yeah I have tried configuring the controller the same way but like you said, after you press x on the keyboard it won´t recognize the buttons on the controller.
