Forum - problems when using 'reply with quote' option

I note that when I use this option, both the quote and my reply are highlighted in a purple box, but other users don't see to have this problem?

Use the '' (6 from left) button on the toolbar at top of edit window to turn quoting on and off.

Watch the blue bar at the bottom of the text entry box when moving cursor around/entering text - if it says Path: p then you will be entering text OUTSIDE the quote, if it says something like Path: Block Quote then you're INSIDE the quote

When all else fails, click the "HTML" button and edit the HTML source code directly.
