After looking hither and yon for a clear answer to setting up a TFT Color Monitor for use with my (new) Raspberry Pi, I got it up and running. I am not a hardware/electronics guy, but a programmer, and so what looks simple to many had me stumped. Once I finally got it working, I thought that others with hardware challenges would benefit. It is for an American electrical system, and our Radio Shack is like the British Maplin and German RS. Also, I probably had an extra part in the connection between the Monitor and 12V wall socket adapter, but like I said, I'm not a hardware guy. However, it's simple, and it works.
