is -ISO flag actually working?

Sat Jun 22, 2013 7:52 pm

Hello,

I made some videos with raspivid changing the -ISO value (I suppose that the range is the same than DLSR cameras). I tried with 100, 200, 500, 1000, 3200 and 500000 (I now, this last value is silly) but all videos had exactly the same appearance. That's the only flag I changed trying to adjust the exposure to do not have to capture with very low FPS, but all videos looked the same (with the same lighting conditions, of course)

Is there something I am missing with the usage of this flag? Also, could I set the exposure time manually rather than using a preset?

Thank you,
Jacobo.

It says "not yet implemented" in the manual

EV compensation works though, although I know that's not the same thing...

Of course there is. How d'you think anyone managed to do anything without any documentation?

I mean the document that was linked to on Eben Upton's announcement launching the camera board. I'll see if I can find the link for you.
