Rubbish Bin 'Where Art Thou?'

Wed Jun 19, 2013 8:23 am

I hadn't realised it, until yesterday, that I have no rubbish bin on my Raspbian Wheezy desktop. Hmm ...

After trying to delete a file, and getting the 'Do you wish to move this to the rubbish bin' dialog I thought "Erm ... what rubbish bin?"

I followed this thread: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... p?p=130834. But to no avail.

Any pointers would be much apprecaited.

Thanks for reading.

Try your home directory. E.g. in /home/pi

.local/share/Trash

Woo. Thanks!

I guess I'll have to create my own bash script to handle this, with a desktop shortcut, until Raspbian decide to add one in (if ever).

Much appreciated.

Some file managers will have a Wastebasket or Trash icon. Perhaps not as immediate as a desktop icon.
