Flipped Keystrokes (and other questions)

Fri Jun 14, 2013 11:04 pm

I just installed Raspbian on my pi for the first time, and when I ran IDLE 3 (only thing I've done so far) , some of the keystokes were flipped, such as double quotes (") with the 'at' symbol (@). Is this a problem? Is there a way to change it? Off topic, but what is the best way to store my pi? Further off topic: how can I import python scripts to my pi? Thanks, tell me if I posted wrong.

You need to run the configuration utilities again.
sudo raspi-config

Choose setup option 4 then do the 3 options shown to set up your keyboard, location and timezone.

If not in use and you don't' have a case then store in the anti static bag the RPi came in.

Any files can be copied over by simply using a USB thumb drive.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

Thanks so much. How do I access the config?

At a command line prompt type the following and press [Enter]:

sudo raspi-config
