Booted Wheezy the first time about two weeks ago, it booted properly the first time. I will build it up as a desktop/programming system.
Tonight booted the NOOBS for the first time with misgivings. But they were unfounded as it worked as it should. I selected XBMC. So far I have hooked it up to a 40" TV & a 27" monitor. The system has played two movies so far coming from a 4Tb disk like it was perfectly normal. Yes I am using a powered USB hub for the mouse, keyboard and 4Tb disk. The internet connection is direct ethernet not a wireless adaptor.
I could not be any happier with this success. I am looking forward to my third Pi which will control 3 sump pumps.
