apt-get install xbmc does not work

Hello,

I want have XBMC in my raspbian (casual use), but I dont want install raspbmc. I tried apt-get it in a fresh raspbian installation (2013-05-25) but some packages' dependecies are broken.

Is this failure in the dependences and in the raspbian repository that would be fixed in a near future, or a XBMC installation in a non-raspbmc is more involved?

Have you already updated and upgraded the current install?

Yes, that was the first thing I did after booting the SD card first time

This might get you by if there's some issues with the traditional apt-get option.

Xbmc hangs my raspi on exit (or takes so much time with a black screen, I only waited for 3 minutes) but it doest matter because I can use xbmc casually
