how to bring your pi to work

Thu May 30, 2013 12:01 am

I carry my pi to work everyday, in the default black case. I've been wondering if there is a better, safer way to bring it around than leaving that chunk of electronic randomly in my bag. There is that fear that one day a ball of lint would get into it and screw up everything. either thatperhaps some static.

D: suggestions for the paranoid user?

I would use an anti-static type bag. The bag the RPi came in would be good.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

though once it's inside a case the thing I'd be most worried about is the SD card sticking out the end.
I saw a half-length SD card and a micro-sd caddy that fit withing the dimensions of the board that would solve that.
