3.8.13+ SD card errors

First, please forgive me for starting another thread on this topic.
I have seen a lot of posts on this but none seem to give a definitive answer.
I have had to upgrade to the 3.8.13 Kernel to get my TV tuner card to work.
I am now getting the following errors :-

Occasionally, the Pi does not boot, reporting errors on the mmcblk0p2
partition. I have to fix the partition using my netbook.
What does all this mean?
Is there a fix for this?
Will I have to change my SD card? I am using a Sandisk Micro SD 32gig
