Chameleon expanding the wrong partition to fit allof sd card

Hi everyone
I have just written the retro multi machine emulator 'chameleon' version 031 to a 32gb sd card and booted. I then entered console (press T) and checked the partition sizes using df, it seems that chameleon is re-sizing the wrong partition to the maximum size of the sd card? it is resizing /dev/mmcblk0p1 (boot 1% used) to nearly 30gb, when it should be resizing /dev/mmcblk0p3 (roms 100% used). When you access the Rpichameleon network drive, you can only copy about 200mb across before windows tells you the destination is full, which confirms chameleon has expanded the wrong drive... any ideas how to correct this, or is it a known problem? I am quite new to linux so am scratching my head a bit... :-/ but this software is brilliant!

just a quick update. I have downloaded the chameleon image again, and tried with an 16gb card and still the same problem. so have eliminated the image and 32gb capacity... has anyone else managed to copy say 1gb worth of roms across to chameleon from their pc? am i doing something wrong on initial boot?

from the lack of any replies i guess its never happened to anyone before then? tried several other ideas over the bank holiday without luck. Might have to figure out how to manually re-size the partition then (somehow?) unless anyone has any suggestions?

i am having trouble putting it on my USB stick at all.

I am trying to SquashFS the chameleon.v031.img file in Terminal, but it keeps saying it can't do it.

Have you had any luck increasing the size of the ROM folder? I have the same issue and know little about Linux.

no, not had much luck im afraid in trying to re-size the correct partition, it looks like the theory is you have to copy the data from the partition you want to re-size to a ext formatted usb memory stick, and copy the data from the main partition to another ext formatted usb memory stick, then delete both partitions on the sd card and create two new partitions of the correct sizes you want (making note of the address of the end of the first partition, for the second one to follow from) and then copying the data thats saved on usb from both old partitions to the newly created partitions. I hate to say it but I am going off Linux very quickly, rather like learning DOS all over again but not as user friendly (and i thought we left that behind in the dark ages as a lost cause)! As I dont have lots of spare time, and I dont really want to waste the time I do have at the end of my working day learning something I will only ever use once, I have decided to ditch chameleon and just load a few choice emulators into raspian. Its a shame really, as chameleon looked very good too!
