Minecraft Pi Edition-mine runs without terminal

After i attempted to patch some things into minecraft pi edition: i came up with something wierd: i just double-click on it, select execute, and it works!

so now i have had some fun, and custom made a desktop launcher icon.

so, it proves that I do not need terminal! lucky me.

It's not weird at all. It runs on a separate window that doesn't necessarily rely on the terminal. A simple chmod command and a double-click is all that's needed to launch most Linux binaries.
