Bus error

Sat May 04, 2013 6:33 am

Morning everyone,
I am trying to edit the minidlna conf file in nano, but when I try to start nano, I get a "bus error" and nano fails to start. Everything else is ok. Any ideas?

Does that mean that nano can open and edit other files? Or is running nano not possible at all?

What operating system do you have installed?

Hi, nano isn't working at all. I've tried to remove it and reinstall, but I'm getting various errors as well. I've also noticed the VPN is down, which I think us attributable also to this issue.
To be honest, I'm going to reimage and start again.

If you haven't invested too much effort in customising your system that is probably a sound idea.

nano has always worked 'out of the box' for me

If you've added other packages to your system, I wonder if you have a storage space issue? Did you use the expand_rootfs option in raspi-config to take advantage of all the space on the SD card?

Good luck with your fresh start.
