Pi shuts down every 10 minutes[Raspian Wheezy]

Fri Apr 19, 2013 4:21 pm

So, I'm trying to run a twitter live feed of trending topics on a TV in our office. All has gone well up until now.

I've flashed Raspbian Wheezy and am using Midori to run gigatweeter.com/monitter.com

Every 10 minutes like clockwork the Raspberry pi crashes. I've tried different 2 different cables and 3 different power adapters as well as reflashing the img.

Here's some pics of the set up:http://imgur.com/a/pLPKY

The CPU monitor shows the memory is only running around 60%, so it shouldn't be overloading it(if that's possible).

I'm new to linux so any insight would be dandy.

Novel mounting! It is possible that something could be getting a bit warm.

Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm

What's plugged into the USB? Some USB devices will cause power surging that will shut down the RPi. One of my webcams did this when it warmed up.
