LED's appear to be fine - the Pi's probably not detecting your HDMI TV and reverting to low res A/V (yellow RCA socket) by default. Try putting your TV into HDMI mode before booting up the Pi. Other possible issues/solutions can be found on the wiki at http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting# ... put_at_all .

Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm

What model of Pi? What brand of SD card? The Pi does not come from the foundation with a cable, so if you bought a hardware package, which one did you get from where?

And, as far as I know, the Model B has only 4 lights, you list what sounds like 8 lights. How many lights are there on your Pi? And are you saying they are all on, all at the same time, nonstop?

How many???
The Pi only has 5 LEDs total:
ACT Green. Flashes when SD card is in use and also blinks in a steady pattern if boot fails at various stages
PWR Red. On whenever power is connected.
FDX Yellow/Orange (I think, haven't got one to hand to check). Network connected in full duplex mode.
LNK Green (I think). Network link is established.
100 (10M on early boards). Yellow/Orange (?) Network is running at full 100Mb/s

The main thing is to check what the Green ACT light is doing. Does it blink a lot for a while, flash briefly once, flash in a pattern or just light dimly?

Yes, it is normal that you can't see what you are typing for the password. Just type blind and press enter :)

It's a security feature.
