RPi raspi-config expand_rootfs

Hello,

I have tried running the exapand_rootfs on my Pi, to create more space, however, I am getting the following error message 'There was ab error running do_expand_rootfs', does anybody have any ideas.

Are you using the raspi-config script on a Wheezy install.

This is the easiest way. ;) I know it's in the thread title.

If all else fails re image your SD.

Ther have been people trying to run it manually in place of using the provided script.

Which command?

raspi-config needs root privileges so you'll have to use

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config
on the command line and then select 'expand_rootfs'.

After you have done this the following reboot will take longer (just that first time) as it checks the new space. ;)
