VNC weird colours through client

Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:57 pm

Hi,
I've been stratching my head over it for a couple of days now and can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I installed VNC from >>http://elinux.org/RPi_VNC_Server#Instructions<< on a newly formatted sd card with the Raspbian image and am using an iPhone 4 to use as the viewer running "VNC Client" to access the RPi. I have set the server up to be identical as in the instructions say but the viewer has a really strange colours over parts of the desktop and file manager, but when clicked on through the VNC Client the colours appear to sort themselves out. Has anyone got any ideas or hints to solve this problem? I have altered the output resolution settings, and colour variation but to no avail. Many areas affected is bar along the bottom (appears green) and the start menu (appears black).

After writing this post I have found a handy google site reporting that my client did not work so therefore after changing clients it works perfectly, after going back to apple it shows a "5 Star rating" thanks apple thanks a lot for no help.
