Parallax L3G4200D reading from Pi

Sat Mar 02, 2013 10:06 pm

I am looking for information on how to setup the Parallax 3 axis Gyroscope with temperature module. I cant seem to find good documentation anywhere on how to get it working. The only thing I can find is for Arduinos and Basic Stamps. I have the i2c interface enabled on the Pi but have no Idea where to go from here. If someone could write some example code on how to read temperature I could probably figure out how to get the axis'. I would like the program to be written in C.

Google?

For example http://www.susa.net/wordpress/2012/06/r ... clock-rtc/

Search the forum(s): http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... =44&t=8043, which has a link to the above too.

Thanks for the reply but I have gotten it working since then I converted code from an Arduino to work with it but just have to work out a couple minor bugs still.
