AverMedia tuner

Hello All,

I have AverMedia tuner AVerTV Hybrid Volar HX and I'm wondering if there is any possibility to run it on RPi? I would like to connect to it external video source via Composite input.

Please be aware that I'm newbee in Linux.

It would appear that the main chipset is a NXP SAA7136E which is not supported what-so-ever:

I have one of those tuners sitting in a drawer somewhere and I wouldn't even think of plugging it into a Pi. Not enough HW horsepower to run it and no SW to interface to it.
