Re: World Wide RPi Map?

It would be amazing to have an idea of where all the Pi's go...

Would it be at all possible to log where each RPi goes (I'm thinking by country so that there are no privacy issues).

I just think it would be an excellent visual of the spread of RPi globally.

Thoughts??

I fear that in certain quarters it'll be seen as a SmugDex, those with Raspberry Pis teasing the have-nots. At least if its country-by-country, than you won't have the disaffected hunting the lucky few down with malice aforethought...

I can't use frappr from this connection anyway.

Yeah giving us the postcodes of each and every RPi ever sold would be rather fun, (the pre-cursor to the great RPi heist of 2012)

...but a country by country break down would be interesting if we are allowed the information.  Even a number sold or produced would be great.

I keep an eye on google trends...still can't work out why Czech Republic is always so high up the list!
