Problem installing Raspbian 2013-02-09-wheezy-raspbian

Sat Feb 16, 2013 12:52 pm

Hey!

I have tries for some time now to install the new Raspbian to a 32gb Kingston SD class 10 card.
It succsessfully installed the image onto the SD card. But when I try to run it for the first time I only get this on my screen:

example:

Code: Select all

[717.702208] mmc0: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt - cmd1.
And after some time just dooing this and changing the numbers in [] and cmdx. I get this:

Code: Select all

INIT: ID "4" respawning to fast: Disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Cannot execute "/sbin/getty"
INIT: cannot execute /sbin/getty"ed for 5 minutes
What is the problem? And how do I fix it?
Hope for a fast respons! :)

PS! It works on the same 4GB card instead of a 32gb card... And just checked the Verfi wiki site for SD card compatible, and the card shall work just fine.

I have also tested the SHA-1 number on the zip file. and it is the same as the one I downloaded from the RPi site.

Now I tried to install Raspbian with the online install: http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianInstaller

I get so far that its about to formatting the SD and it hangs on 33%.........

And when i check the installing log I get the same error with alot of this:

Code: Select all

mmc0: timeout waiting for hardware interrupt -cmdXX.

kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector xxxxxxxx

Return to “Raspberry Pi OS”
