Pi stops working. (PWR LED on only)

Sun Feb 03, 2013 9:00 am

Hello.
I used my 256Mb pi as home router (dlna, smb, dhcpd). All devices was connected through active USB hub. Today I wake up and have no internets. I came to Pi and see that only Red Power LED is on. When I reconnect power cable nothing changed. PWR led is on, and nothing more.

TP1-TP2 voltage give 5.05V. F3 Voltage give 5.10 (one side) to 5.05V (other side). To do:
1. Replace image on flash. (Currently backuping existing flash. Boot and root partion can be seen from computer)
2. Use another flash.
3. Use this flash on other Pi (My coworker have 512Mb version).

I will edit post or add new messages after make futher check.

Start return procedure for a faulty RPi with your supplier (it will save time) you can allways cancel if you find it's not broken.

First guess physically check your SD slot for bent or boken contacts. ;)

Return replacements are reported to be quicker than original supply.
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

If you find a solution please post it in the wiki the forum dies too quick

Similar trouble: after one minute all USB stop working, after 10 more seconds Ethernet stops.

Solved. I use Micro SD card with converter to Normal SD. Problem was in bad converter.
