I have very little Linux experience. I've only used it for web browsing. I want to create my own website with a MySql database using my home network to host the site. I'm not expecting much traffic at first. I'm going to use this: for my distro.

In noob terms, step by step, what do I need to do to get this started?

Also, I'm going to start learning MySql. This is a future project.

Slightly different but the notes could be helpful. ;)

This is written with the Noob in mind.

If you really want to have MySQL in the loop have a look at this! This is a page in development but worth a look. ;)
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

If you find a solution please post it in the wiki the forum dies too quick
