Raspbian, (I assume you are misspelling Raspbian when you write "Raspbain") and in fact is now called Raspberry PI OS, does not, and in fact cannot, run on a PC. It only runs on a real raspberry PI.

So what are you trying to run on your PC?

you need to match the os to the specs of your netbook.
when i had my netbook i ran elementary os
https://elementary.io/
just put 0 where it says custom & download.

if i remember right, my netbook had 2gb ram & a 1.6ghz cpu.
there are other linux os's with less minimum requirements. you can have a look through distrowatch.

Presuming this what you are running ?

https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-os/

Is it actually freezing or just gone into a temporary halt because it is processing ?

The specs of the Laptop would help as well as if you are running from internal or external drive.

Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...
