I want to add Screenly to my Pie. Do I add the program to my current SD card with the OS or can I remove the OS card and add the one with Screenly?

According to this page on the Screenly site you flash a SD card directly with their image rather than adding the program to an existing installation.

Screenly
Open Source Edition
can be added to an existing Raspberry Pi OS Lite installation. The support page referenced by RGJ-PI applies to the commercial Screenly Pro version.
