As has been pointed out by many people, randomly trying to follow a Pi tutorial found on Google seldom works. Not only are there errors in most tutorials, but the parts that didn't have errors often don't work either due to frequent changes in the Raspberry Pi OS.

While I've never done this, I think some people just put the web browser in full screen mode and connect to a website that remotely updates.

Maybe a good approach would be to search and find a tutorial that seems to be what you want, post a link to that specific tutorial and then ask, did this tutorial ever work and does it still?

There are a number of Kiosk programs for Pi, Pi Presents is one, cannot remember the other ones, but Google will find them if you look for Kiosks.

I just followed this tutorial yesterday to create a kiosk at work that displays on a 50" TV.

Watch the video to understand the steps. It looks overwhelming at first, but watching the video really breaks it down.

The URL's we are using are PowerBI report pages that toggle between tabs every 30 seconds. I have yet to figure out how to get the reports to update on the Kiosk without manually refreshing the page. I am connected via VNC to the RPi and can open the command window from my desk that way. No need to ever re-connect to the Pi itself.
