Mon Jul 13, 2020 3:37 pm

Accidently i power 12v, i feel their small sound something burst like little ic blown, after i check found nothing broken to rpi 4b. After giving 5v it seems red and green led turn on and pmic mxl7704 getting too much hot. I checked the positive negative with continuity mode its seem shorted. Processor and other stuffs are cool. Any hope how to revive my rpi 4b??? (I already bought new one but i want to fix it)

Hi.

Sorry but applying 12V to the 5V input of you pi has killed it.

Repair is not possible all you can do is replace it ( which you have already done ).
