Ubuntu 64-bit analog audio problems

Wed Jun 24, 2020 12:58 am

I bought a raspberry Pi 4B 8GB and was surprised there was no Raspberry Pi 64-bit OS. I Installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64-bit and it works fine except there is no audio from the analog 3,5 mm jack. I did a test run of the hardware on Raspberry OS 32-bit and no problems with the audio.
I have tried all the "fixes" I could find on forums and Youtube but nothing worked. I crashed the audio configuration so many times trying all the "fixes" so I probably reinstalled the Pi 20 times. I have done as many clean install's and same thing every time. No preference settings, config file changes och terminal command fixes I found makes any difference. No analog audio output what so ever.

I will give this 24 hours more time but after that I need another solution and this Pi will "fly".
