Rasbberry 3B and bluetooth pairing with echo dot

Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:35 pm

hello every body

I'm not smart enought for find the answer on my way, so i politely ask :-)

Ii'd like to use my echo dot as a speaker for my raspberry, actualy i run raspberry OS,
(before the update, i had the same problems with Raspian buster ) (the old OS name it's better to me... )

I had't got problems with any other BT speaker,
it's just seems the echo dot want's to be the special one.... and it dont like to pair just like a normal speaker

from what I was able to understand

should I edit or create some ".config" files in "/etc/bluetooth" to force bluealsa to connect to my echo dot only in "A2DP" or "A2DP SINK" mode with the bluetooth address of my device

(i also don't understand the difference betwen "A2DP" or "A2DP SINK" modes)
