I am unable to add a Canon MX922 on CUPS. When I select the printer to add it, CUPS buffers for a while and then outputs "Unable to get list of printer drivers: Success". I tried uninstalling gutenprint and reinstalling it, and I also tried installing foomatic. None of these common solutions seem to work. I also tried listing /usr/share/foomatic after installing foomatic but that directory doesn't exist.
However, I was strangely able to get an Epson WF-2750 to connect without an issue.
Is CUPS just incompatible with Canon printers or is there another problem?
