I can not reboot without a HDMI-monitor connected to the first HDMI-port. When I reboot the device shuts down, but only start when the HDMI-cable is connected. A regular boot (powering on) does work without HDMI connected.
I searched the web and found many partial solutions. I tried
- to set "hdmi_force_hotplug=1";
- to set a default resolution (VGA);
- update the firmware (rpi-update);
- without fan.
What can I do to use the pi without HDMI depencies/headless?
I am running Raspberry Pi OS (Linux raspberrypi 5.4.47-v8+ #1322 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jun 17 18:05:46 BST 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux) with two SATA drives and one fan on the GPIO headers 2 and 6.
